Magnolia flower in our back yard

If you’ve ever smelled a Magnolia bloom, it is quite unique. Our Magnolia tree is rather young and has only been planted in the back yard for about a year. Each year we get maybe 3-4 flowers. When I initially saw the flower there was a lady bug crawling down one of the petals but unfortunately I didn’t have my phone on me. I ran inside, grabbed my phone and the lady bug had crawled or flown out of site. I opened my Camera+ app and took a few different shots. This one turned out to be the best one. I applied the basic “auto” filter in Camera+ then used the Color Splash app to remove all of the color from the picture except the very slight shading on the petals themselves.
